Chumuckla Springs Boat Ramp
Engineering and permitting design of the Chumuckla Springs Boat Ramp, parking lot and access roadway is continuing. Permit packages should be submitted to the reviewing agencies including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and Northwest Florida Water Management District the first week in September. Construction is slated this winter utilizing county forces. The new ramp will be owned by the county and will be open year around. It will replace the current Sandy Landing Boat Ramp which the county currently maintains subject to a license agreement with a private property owner.
