Random Act of Kindness

This morning in the pouring rain with everyone rushing to get to work on time I witnessed a random act of kindness.  Let me set the stage: rain, rain,  heavy traffic on Stewart St., trailer load with sacks of corn.  When the driver of a truck pulling a trailer loaded with sacks of grain made onto right hand turn to Stewart St.  about 20 wet sacks slid off the trailer and landed in the roadway.  Some vehicles drove over and around the sacks! But one man stopped, pulled over, got out in the rain and helped load the sacks back on the trailer and clear the road.  A random act of kindness.  No one expected him to leave the warm, dry cab of his truck to assist a total stranger.  Pass It On.  The world will be a better place if we all practice this generosity.
