Couple Arrested for Child Neglect
Vance Joseph Ates, 38 and his wife, Rebeccah Lynn Ates, 36 of 8100 Hwy 4 Jay, Fl were arrested on January 2 for Child Neglect. When officers arrived at the home on a call of a domestic dispute they discovered the squalor that the preschool child was living in. The child had soiled clothes on. The child has been removed and placed with relatives. Both parents were arrested,booked and released on $10,000 bond.
