IDEAS ARE SOUGHT FOR RIVERWALK RUN 5K T-SHIRTS

Do you feel you have what it takes to design a T-shirt?

How about a great idea that you can draw the concept of and turn it over to a professional artist?

Well the Milton Parks and Recreation Department is seeking your ideas for a possible new T-shirt design for the shirts handed out for the Riverwalk Run 5K.

You don’t have to be a special graphic designer or artist to participate, all you need is an idea and the desire to submit what you think would best represent the annual Milton Riverwalk Run 5K that is put on by the Milton Parks Department.

“We are reaching out to the community to get ideas and input on art work depicting the run and downtown Milton on our T-shirts,” Milton Events Coordinator Kyle Kemp said. “We are wanting to see what the public is thinking.

“We are looking for something that grabs our attention. If your art work does, it could be used on our T-shirts and all marketing material.”

The Milton Riverwalk Run is held the first Saturday in October of each year has drawn hundreds of runners to Milton and its downtown historic area.

The artist of the chosen design will be given a complementary entry into the race and a T-shirt.
