Mini-Cheer Camp
The Jay High School Varsity cheerleaders will be having a Mini-Cheer Camp open to pre-k through sixth grade girls on Monday September 10th, Tuesday, September 11th, and Thursday, September 13th. (We will not have camp on Wednesday, Sept. 12th because of early release). The cost for the camp is $35.00. This includes instruction from the Varsity Cheerleaders, a t-shirt they will be given on Thursday, and free entry to Friday’s game, and various treats they’ll receive throughout the week.
Each day, we’ll meet in the old gym for roll call at 2:20.We will pick up girls from JES and escort them to the gym. We will work on cheers, jumps, and band dances until 4:30. Please pick up your childpromptly at 4:30 in the old gym. If your child plans to leave with someone other than a parent, they must have a permission note.
The girls will participate in a routine Friday night before the Varsity Football Game- Jay versusSneads. Along with their cheers and fight song, the girls will learn a dance. They will also be provided with camp shirts to wear Friday night. Please have your child wear blue or black shorts or sweatpants.
The permission slip and money MUST be turned in to Mrs. Fischer by Friday, September 8th, so all of the t-shirts can be ordered. I look forward to having your child in cheer camp and know they’ll have a great time.
