The Lady Royals won last night against Franklin County. They won 11-1 in 6 innings. The Royals will play again Friday night at 7. Jay will be hosting Chipley in the Regional Finals.

Due to the cold weather the JV baseball game for tomorrow has been canceled. The varsity team for Jay will still play but at 3:30 instead of the scheduled time. Bring a blanket tomorrow and come on out to watch the Royals take on Atmore!
In the extremely cold weather the Lady Royals played a double header against the Seahawks of South Walton. The Royals split the games with a 6-3 loss in the first one and a 4-2 win in the second. Samantha Steadham and Emily Dobson hit home runs in the second game.
Jay High School’s Dana Blackmon signed a scholarship to play softball for JDCC in Brewton. Dana is the daughter of Preston and Kathy Blackmon of Jay. She is one of the first players to sign for Jeff Davis this year.
Tomorrow’s (1/9/15) junior varsity game for Baker at Jay has been cancelled. Consequently, the varsity game between the Royals and the Gators will start at 6pm instead of 6:45pm. Friday, 1/9/15 Baker at Jay Varsity only 6:00pm
