Thursday-The Jay Royals’ golf team competed in the Miracle Strip Golf Tournament at Fort Walton Beach Golf Club and placed 5th out of 17 teams. The Royals had a season low score of 329 on the day. Senior Ty Posey recorded a 74 on the day and was the 2nd best golfer.
The Lady Royals, now 6-1, went on the road to Brewton on Thursday and defeated T.R. Miller (5-6), 3 sets to 1. Jay was able to bounce back from their first loss of the season last week at the hands of Milton. Jay won the first two sets, before dropping the third to T.R. Miller. […]

JHS Alum Sarah Edwards has qualified for the U.S. Open. Edwards, a senior on the University of Alabama’s Golf Team, medaled in Atlanta at the Druid Hills Golf Club.
