Prep Football Week 11
Baker (6-2) @ Jay (6-1)-Kickoff 7:00pm
Jay is coming off their first loss of the season after losing a heartbreaker on the road last week to Liberty County, 29-28. The Royals’ defense forced multiple turnovers, but still came up short in their first game after nearly a month off due to a forfeit (True Institute) and then Hurricane Isaias. The Royals hope that the rust is off and they can get back to their winning ways as they host Baker in the annual “War on Highway 4.” Earlier in the year, Jay defeated Baker 35-6 in week one. Since then, Baker is 6-1, with their only other loss coming at the hands to Blountstown 38-22.
Last season, Baker defeated Jay, 29-20.
Central (2-3) @ Walton (5-2)-Kickoff 7:00pm
Central is coming off a big win over Wewa last week, 20-18. The Jaguars got their second win in a season that has been riddled with schedule interruptions. Walton is coming off a two game losing streak, falling to South Walton and Catholic.
Last season, the two schools did not play.
Milton (2-5) @ Gulf Breeze (0-7)-Kickoff 7:30pm
Gulf Breeze is searching for their first win of the season. Milton is trying to get their third win of their up and down season after falling to Escambia last week.
Last season, Milton defeated Gulf Breeze 42-0.
Pace defeated Navarre, 46-0 on Thursday night.
