JHS’ Cross Country Opening Day

It was opening day for the Royals as they took to the starting line at the L.E.A.D. Academy meet in the Wallace Community yesterday afternoon. Congratulations to our boy’s team who won first place!  In the boys race, Chance Thornton led the team, winning 2nd overall with a time of 18:24. For the Lady Royals, Leah Smith, led the girls team finishing 8th overall. Check out the full team results on the timing sheet photos attached.  The first meet sets the tone for the season, and it will give them leverage to do better as the season progresses. “Goals have been set and it’s time to do the work! Let’s go Royals!” head coach Teresa Dobson stated.
