AARP MENTOR UP WORKSHOP

Seniors, do you have a computer you don’t know how to use that well?What about that new phone your children gave you to stay in touch?

Well the Guy Thompson Community Center will be hosting a workshop to help you on Sept. 22nd.

The AARP Mentor Up Workshop will feature University of West Florida student volunteers ready to work with you to go over the basic such as turning on your devices (iPhone, Tablet, Laptop, etc.), getting on the internet, sending text messages, how to Skype with your friends and family, and so much more.

This workshop will be in two separate sessions, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. or noon to 1:30 p.m.

Seniors are urged to bring their phones, laptops and other devices so you can learn on what you use.

Due to limited space, we ask that you RSVP for the class by Sept. 20th and indicate which session you would like to attend.
