The Royals are coming off a 6-5 2025 playoff appearance season. Blountstown ended the year last year for Jay. The Royals bring back a bevy of talent including a loaded running back room. Up first for Jay is a rival of epic proportion; the Baker Gators. The season opener tonight is actually the first of two games the two schools will play this year. Baker is coming off a 11-1 season where they lost to Chiefland in the second round of the playoffs.

Last season, Baker defeated Jay 29-20.

Fairhope @ Pace-Kickoff 7:30pm

Pace went 10-2 under first year head coach Vance Smith. The Patriots lost in the second round of the playoffs last year to Mandorin. They face Fairhope this week. The Pirates went 8-4 last season.

The two schools did not play last season.
