A Pair of Longtime JHS Educators Retire

Sonya Odom and Connie Wilkes both are retiring this year after 31 years of service. In front of faculty, family and friends, the two educators were honored by former coworkers and the administration at Jay High.
Odom has taught mathematics most of her career and coached track and cross country as well. While Connie Wilkes has taught social studies, she is best known as the band director for Jay High over the last three decades.
Both teachers were honored with stories from their careers and keepsakes.
