Lady Royals Advance
The Jay Lady Royals Softball Team went to Chipley (19-5) and shocked the Tigers, getting a 3-2 win to advance to the Regional Championship. The win was Jay’s 12th of the year and improved their record to .500 (12-12). Jay will now get a chance for redemption against the Northview Chiefs (19-5), who bested Holmes County 15-0 in the first round of the playoffs. Jay fell to Northview twice this season, 7-0 and 7-2.
The game is scheduled for Tuesday at 7pm at Northview.
