Gameday! Week 6
FLOMATON (3-2) @ JAY (1-3)—KICKOFF 7:00PM
Jay hosts rival Flomaton this week and hopes to turn things around. The Royals have dropped three in a row, all on the road. Last week, at Chipley, Jay came up short on a hail-mary attempt at the end of the game, losing 21-14. Flomaton has dropped two in a row, losing to TR Miller 27-10 and Bayside Academy 49-7 last week. Look for Jay to run first to set up the pass and control the clock.
Last year, Flomaton defeated Jay 24-17.
CENTRAL (0-4) VS. ROCKY BAYOU (0-5)—KICKOFF 7:00PM
Both the Jags and the Knights will be looking for their first win of the 2025 season. The Jags should be a little fresher, coming off their open week. Central fell to Northview two weeks ago, 46-8. The win over Central was Northview’s sole win of the season. Rocky Bayou fell to Franklin County last week, 33-13.
Last year, Rocky Bayou defeated Central, 35-0.
MILTON (5-0) @ PANAMA CITY MOSLEY (4-1)—KICKOFF 7:00PM
The turnaround story of the year continues this Friday night in Panama City as the undefeated Panthers travel to face the Mosley Dolphins. Milton dropped over 50 last week against Navarre. Looking ahead at their schedule, the Panthers are poised to rattle off several more wins. How big could that Milton/Pace game be? However, Mosley is no push-over. Other than dropping a game vs. rival Bay, Mosley has four wins on the year, three in a row, including one over Navarre as well, 36-16.
Last season, Mosley defeated Milton 42-14.
CRESTVIEW (1-2) @ PACE (3-1)—KICKOFF 7:30PM
Since their opening season loss, Pace has won three in a row by an average margin of 36 points. Crestview got their first win of the season two weeks ago, beating Niceville 32-28. The Bulldogs will be coming off their open week. Crestview’s two losses on the year was the overtime thriller against Milton in week one, coming up short 20-19 and to a very talented Choctaw team, 28-0.
Last season, Crestview fell to Pace, 56-28.
