Both Jay and Freeport are coming off big wins in week one. Freeport knocked off North Bay Haven Academy by a whopping 54-13 while Jay held the Stingrays scoreless in a 40-0 rout. It is safe to say that both squads will face tougher opposition in week two.
Last season, Jay defeated Freeport 34-6.
Milton (1-0) @ Pensacola High (0-1)—Kickoff 7:00pm
Last week Milton won in exciting fashion, defeating Crestview in overtime 20-19. It was the first win for the Panthers since the 2023 season. Milton looks to keep the momentum going this week as they face the Tigers. PHS lost last week 29-0 to Pine Forest.
Last season, PHS defeated Milton 16-7.
Catholic (1-0) @ Pace (0-1)—Kickoff 7:30pm
Pace stubbed their toe last week to start the season, falling to Mary G. Montgomery 34-21. They must now turn the page as they welcome a very talented Catholic team in their first home game of the 2025 season. Catholic is coming off a big road win to start their season against Navarre, 42-27.
Last season, Pace fell to Catholic, 34-20.
