Royals Baseball Season comes to close

The Jay Royals (17-13) 2025 baseball season ended on Tuesday in Bonifay to the hands of Holmes County (24-4), 3-1. It the third matchup between the two schools this season and the third win for Holmes, although each game was close. Going into Tuesday’s game, Holmes held a 1-0 lead in the best of 3 series. Jay and Holmes went into the 5th inning scoreless, but the Blue Devils scored 3 in the bottom of the 5th. Jay would score one run at the top of the 7th, but came up short. Holmes now advances to the state final four.
