The Jay Royals (17-11) will be moving on in the FHSAA Playoffs to face Holmes County (22-4) for the Regional Championship next week. The Royals defeated Central (15-9) 13-6 in game three to win the best of three series. Hayden Morris got the win for the Royals on the mound.

Jay will travel to Holmes for another best of three series starting Monday night.

Softball

The Jay Lady Royals (20-3) fell to the Northview Chiefs (19-6) on Thursday in the District Championship, 9-1. The loss was only the third of the year for Jay and the second defeat at the hands of the Chiefs. Jay will still make the playoffs and host the first round against the Chipley Tigers (15-7) on May 8th at 7pm.
