Bray-Hendricks Park Construction Groundbreaking Ceremony
Town of Jay to Pay $9.1 Million For Park Renovation Project
(Jay, Florida) – March 18, 2025 – The Town of Jay will be hosting a groundbreaking event to commemorate the kickoff of the construction on the Bray-Hendricks Park. The groundbreaking is open to the public. The event will be held Friday, March 28 at 8:30a.m. at 5259 Booker Lane in Jay, Florida.
The Town of Jay will hire Triptek Construction, located in Atmore, Alabama, to complete a $9.1 Million renovation of the Bray-Hendricks Park. Triptek Construction was the lowest of eight bidders for the 24-acre project. The construction project is scheduled to be completed in 12 months.
The project has been made possible by multiple grants from the State of Florida Commerce Department and Department of Environmental Protection, as well as Santa Rosa County and Town of Jay funds. Dewberry Engineers and STOA Architects designed the renovation from their Pensacola, Florida offices.
