Lady Royals Pummel Walton

Friday-It was a nice win on Friday as Jay (10-1) completely overwhelmed Walton (2-10) to the tune of 62-30. Sophomore Aubreigh Nelson had a huge night for the Lady Royals, scoring 26 on the night, 24 in the first half alone. Nelson added five rebounds on the night as well. Fellow sophomore Presley Hawthorne added 10.
After scoring 22 in the first quarter, Jay added 18 in the second quarter to take a 40-20 lead into the break.
As big of a night Jay’s offense had, the big news was the Lady Royals’ defense. Jay held Walton to ten points total in the entire second half.
