Lady Royals Suffer 1st Loss
Jay-The Jay Lady Royals (7-1) lost their first game of the season on Monday at the hands of Holmes County (10-1), 69-50. In a game that seemed to get away from the Royals very quickly, Jay found themselves trailing the Blue Devils at halftime, 39-18. Despite cutting the lead to 13 towards the end of the third quarter, turnovers doomed Jay.

On the men’s side, Jay (3-2) hosted LEAD (1-9) on Monday and got a 66-16 win.
