North Santa Rosa

Week 7 and predictions

Jay (5-1) vs Central (0-4) @ Milton High School-Kickoff 7:00pm

Jay is coming off their first loss of the season at the hands of Flomaton, 24-17. As disappointed as the Royals must be, they’ve had to turn their attention quickly on a short week to get ready for new rivals, at least in football, as Central “hosts” Jay at Milton High on a Thursday night game. This is Central’s first season with a varsity program and it has been a valiant work in progress. With a limited roster, the Jaguars will have their hands full with the talented and deep Royals.

This is the first ever matchup between the two schools in a varsity football game.

Madison County (4-1) @ Pace (4-1)-Kickoff 7:30pm

It’s homecoming this week at Pace as the Patriots host 1A powerhouse Madison County. Pace is coming off a huge 56-28 win over Crestview last week. The Patriots have looked great this season thus far since the two touchdown loss at Catholic. The Cowboys from Madison are not strangers to playing bigger schools as they’ve played both Lincoln and Bay this season. This should be an entertaining game, at least in the first half. The Cowboys fell short last season in the 1A Rural State Championship game.

Last season, the two schools did not play.

Milton is open this week.

Predictions

Northsantarosa.com went 2-1 on picks last week, missing out on Jay. Total record is 13-4.

Jay 55 Central 0

Pace 42 Madison County 17
