Week 4…with predictions!

Week 4 is here and it should be a good one. Big rivalry game (also the “TV” game of the week) at Jay while Pace is coming off an off week.

Baker (3-0) @ Jay (3-0)- Kickoff at 7:00pm

The Jay Royals are 3-0 as they host their rivals from Baker in the annual “War on Highway 4”. Jay is coming off a 35-8 win over Lighthouse. Through three games, the Royals have outscored their opponents 103-14. Jay has been successful both running and through the air. Baker handed the Central Jaguars a big loss last week, 42-7. Something has to give in this battle of unbeatens. Get to Benny Russell Field at Merle V. North Stadium early for the ring ceremony for the 2024 baseball state champions. The Jay Baseball team will be honored at 6:40pm during pregame festivities.

Last year, Jay defeated Baker 14-3.

Gulf Breeze (1-1) @ Pace (1-1)- Kickoff at 7:30pm

Pace is coming off their open week. The Patriots had lost to Pensacola Catholic the week prior, 34-20. Gulf breeze too, is coming off their open week. The Dolphins got shutout by Tate the week prior, 41-0. Pace is relying on the ground game thus far in the season. They are averaging 5.6 yards a run.

Last season, Pace dropped 55 points at Gulf Breeze in a 55-24 win.

Milton (0-3) @ Tate (3-0)- Kickoff at 7:00pm

Milton has their work cut out for them this week as they head to undefeated Tate. The Panthers have scored 7 points in each of their three losses to start the 2024 season. Meanwhile, the Aggies have averaged nearly 31 points in each game. After shutting out both opponents to start the season, Tate did allow Pensacola High to score 22 last week. Milton’s defense only allowed 16 against Pensacola in week 2, all in the fourth quarter. Can Milton pull off the upset?

Last season, Tate defeated Milton 45-7.

PREDICTIONS

Northsantarosa.com went 1-1 last week. Really thought Milton would get their first win of the season against, at the time, winless Washington. With that being said, Northsantarosa.com is now 6-2 on picks this season.
