The Jay Royals are 2-0 as they host Lighthouse Christian. Jay has scored 34 in their first two games and have only allowed one score. The Royals have been able to keep things balanced offensively thus far in the year, keeping defenses guessing whether Jay will be running or throwing. Last week, Jay topped Freeport 34-6. Lighthouse is coming off their first loss the season, losing a nail bitter in Monticello at Jefferson County.
Jay defeated Lighthouse last season, 42-8.
Washington (0-2) @ Milton (0-2)-Kickoff 7:30pm
It’s senior night at Milton tonight as the Panthers host winless Booker T. Washington. The Panthers have only been able to muster two touchdowns in their first two losses of the 2024 season. Last week Milton scored first against PHS and had the lead going into the fourth quarter but got outscored 16-0 against the Tigers. Washington lost by one to West Florida in overtime last week. Another close one this week?
Milton shutout Washington last season, 28-0.
