Week one offered a thriller in Pace with a kick in overtime to seal the deal for the Patriots. What will week two offer?

Freeport (1-0) @ Jay (1-0)-THURSDAY-6:30 Kickoff

Jay is hosting the Freeport Bulldogs on a Thursday night. Last week Vernon couldn’t stop Jay as the Royals amassed over 300 total yards by air and by ground in their way to defeating the Yellowjackets 34-0. Freeport defeated North Bay Haven by a score of 30-0 last week. Look for Jay to try and stay balanced offensively mixing up the run and the pass while trying to limit Freeport’s big plays offensively through the air.

Last year Jay defeated Freeport, 20-14.

Pensacola High (0-1) @ Milton (0-1)-THURSDAY-7:30 Kickoff

Milton is off to a rough start this season, losing 42-7 at Crestview in week one. The Panthers will look to rebound at home against the Tigers from PHS this week. Pensacola lost in week one as well, 19-6 to Pine Forest. Milton has big play potential and will need to make some plays this week to get in the win column.

Last year the two schools did not play.

Pace (1-0) @ Catholic (1-0)-FRIDAY-7:00 Kickoff

Pace is coming off an overtime win in week 1over Mary G. Montgomery, 17-14. Catholic defeated Navarre last week by a score of 33-0. Pace will try and shorten the game by running the ball in hopes of controlling the clock and possessions. Will it be enough to limit the Crusaders’ high octane offense?
