Week 1…

Football is back! This week is the official start to the 2024 football season. Last week our local schools all participated in scrimmage-like games, but records start now.

Jay @ Vernon-Kickoff 7:00pm

The Jay Royals make the long trip to Vernon this week. Jay is coming off a 7-4 2023 season and a trip to the playoffs. This is Brian Watson’s 3rd season as the head coach. Vernon is coming off a 5-6 season.

Last season, Jay defeated Vernon, 20-13.

Milton @ Crestview-Kickoff 7:00pm

Milton travels to Crestview this week and are hoping to get off to a good start after a 3-7 2023 campaign.

Last season, Crestview defeated Milton 49-22.

Mary G. Montgomery @ Pace-Kickoff 7:30pm

Pace hosts Mary G. Montgomery this Friday. The Vikings are coming off a 12-1 record from last year. Pace had a 8-2 record.

The two schools did not play last season.
