Rodney 0 Roberts
Rodney O Roberts, Age 76, Entered the Gates of Glory, his Eternal Home on Thursday, December 7, 2023.
Rod was born in Brewton, Alabama on October 13, 1947. He was a member of Berrydale Baptist Church. He was married to Dawn Roberts on June 2, 2005. Rod’s hobbies were fishing, hunting, and rodeoing before his health no longer allowed him. His greatest joy was spending time with his family as well as his church family. Rod and Dawn served on the bus ministry for many years, bringing children to church each week. Rod was a retired Boilermaker.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Otho and Mozelle Roberts; and his brother, Larry Roberts.
Rod is survived by his loving wife of 18 and a half years, Dawn; three daughters, Cheyenne Roberts, Haley (Michael) Ragan, and Megan (Ryan) Hunt; two brothers, Jeff Roberts and Randy Roberts; sister, Becky (Jimmy) Jones; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Berrydale Baptist Church, 6730 Highway 4, Jay, Florida 32565, from 10:00 A.M.- 11:00 A.M. A Graveside Service will be held on December 11, 2023, at Berrydale Baptist Church Cemetery, 6730 Highway 4, Jay, Florida 32565 at 11:30 with Brother Robert Gandy officiating.
