North Santa Rosa

Gameday…Week 10…with predictions

Jay (5-3) @ Wewa (4-4)-Kickoff 7pm

Jay ended their losing streak last week with a big 42-8 homecoming win. It was the first win for the Royals in three games. Wewa started the season 1-4 but since has won three in a row. The two schools have a common opponent in Franklin County and had similar outcomes; Jay defeated Franklin 41-8 while Wewa defeated Franklin 42-8. This should be a close, hard-fought matchup.

Last year, the Jay and Wewa did not play.

Milton (2-6) @ Pace (6-2)-Kickoff 7:30pm

Pace is coming off a heartbreaking loss last week against Navarre where they lost by 1 point. Before last Friday, the Patriots were rolling. Winners of five straight, Pace was averaging wins by 28 points. Milton, on the other hand, have lost five straight by an average of 34 points. It won’t be any easier for the Panthers this week as they travel to their arch rival.

Last year, Pace defeated Milton, 42-35.

PREDICTIONS

Jay and Wewa will be a war. Hard to win on the road, especially a road trip this lengthy, but the Royals find a way…Jay 22 Wewa 18

Milton has had a disappointing year and Pace is coming off a close loss. However, losing in the fashion the Patriots did last week brings the team closer and will come in focused against their rivals this week…Pace 45 Milton 7
