Royals Conquer the Conquerors
Friday-The Jay Royals (5-1) hosted West Florida Baptist (0-3) and got a big 16-1 win. Ethan McDonald got things going with a lead-off home run in the first inning. Jay would score 7 in the first inning alone.
The Royals’ bats never cooled off as Tomas Ravendo went 4 for 4, while fellow senior Kade Gilbreath went 3 for 3 on the night. In all, the Royals would record 15 hits on the visiting Conquerors.
Levi Carnley got the win on the mound for Jay. He had six strikeouts on the night and zero walks.
