JHS Provides Food for Needy

Jay High-Christian World Outreach, a Christian club at JHS wanted to be the “Hands and feet of Jesus” during this holiday season to help struggling families.

“As their sponsor, I want our students to see the needs of others and not just focus on themselves,” Becky Holley stated. “Several of our teachers participated in a project called a ‘Reverse Advent’ where their students brought a particular food item on a particular day for the month of December. We will be donating some of the food to My Fathers Arrows and Jay First Baptist and provide groceries for many of our local families/students during the holidays.”
