JHS SGA Speaks at Capital
Tallahassee-The Florida State Capital hosted the District 1 Student Government Association’s Meeting. District 1 ranges from Tallahassee to Pensacola. Students from several high schools were able to present resolutions that are eventually considered by the Florida State Legislature.
“These kids represented JHS well while presenting resolutions for consideration for Florida legislation, attending workshops, and touring Tallahassee,” SGA sponsor Lana Rowell stated.
