Lady Royals Win

The Lady Royals’ Basketball team started their season this week in a pre-season tournament, hosted by Pace High School. On Tuesday, they faced Gulf Breeze and defeated the Dolphins, 51-43. Presley Hawthorne was the leading scorer for the Lady Royals, scoring 15 points, going 7/10 on the free throw line.

“We played well at times, but we’re not very consistent offensively. I thought we played well defensively,” first year head coach Jorey Diamond stated. “Aubreigh Nelson played well for us last night.”

The Lady Royals will be in action again on Thursday at Pace. They will be taking on PCA at 3:30.
