Week 9…with predictions!
Graceville (0-5) @ Jay (3-4)-Game time 7:00pm
Jay is coming off a tough couple of weeks, losing to rivals Baker (28-0) and Northview (49-13). Graceville has yet to win this year, being blown out of every game except last weeks when the Tighes lost to Vernon (1-5), 23-12. Graceville’s offense has been abysmal, scoring 34 points total this season. Their defense is a struggle too, giving up 30 or more points in 4 of their 5 losses. This is the perfect opponent for Jay after two tough weeks for the Royals.
Last year, the two schools did not play.
Pace (5-2) @ Navarre (6-1)- Game time 7:30pm
Pace is coming off a win over Tate last week 38-9 and have looked crisp since their two game losing streak (Crestview and Gulf Breeze), albeit playing two teams struggling in Pensacola and Tate. Navarre is riding a 5 game winning streak as Pace enters this week. One common opponent for both Pace and Navarre is Tate; Navarre defeated Tate 38-20.
Last year Navarre won a close one, defeating Pace 41-34.
Milton (2-5) @ Crestview (3-4)-Game time 7:00pm
Milton is coming off a close loss to Navarre last week, 34-27. Crestview is struggling this year record wise, but 3 of the 4 losses have been by a combined 8 points. Milton seems to be figuring some things out offensively but will they be able to pull off a small upset?
Last year Crestview defeated Milton, 27-14.
