North Santa Rosa

Week 8…with predictions!

Northview (6-0) @ Jay (3-3)Game time 7:00pm

Jay is coming off a loss to rival Baker, 28-0. The Royals offense had opportunities to put points on the board, but turnovers doomed Jay (4 total; 2 INTs, 2 fumbles). In comes another big game and another big rival. Northview is having a great year, coming into this game undefeated and off a big win over Blountstown, 49-0. Can the Royals slow down the Chiefs? Northview has scored 48 or more in four of the six games thus far this year.

Last year, Jay lost to Northview 54-14.

Tate (1-5) @ Pace (4-2)- Game time 7:30pm

Pace defeated Pensacola High 44-7 last week in a big homecoming victory. This week they host Tate, which lost 41-7 to West Florida. Pace defeated West Florida 42-14 earlier in the season. Pace should cruise in this one.

Last year Pace blanked Tate, 37-0.

Milton (2-4) @ Navarre (5-1)-Game time 7:30pm

Milton is coming off an off week and should be healthy and well rested. The Panthers had defeated Tate the week before, 21-7. Navarre is on a four game winning streak. Their last win was a close one, defeating Panama City Mosley, 38-35. Tate is the only common opponent for Milton and Navarre. Navarre defeated the Aggies in week four, 38-20.

Last year Milton defeated Navarre, 18-13.

Predictions

Northview @ Jay-Jay will have their hands full against Northview this week. Northview has scored 49 points in each of their last three games. Jay will keep it closer than anyone else has this year (Northview’s closest game was a 34-25 win over Tate), but Northview has too many weapons. Northview 23 Jay 14.

Tate @ Pace-Tate will come out ready to play, but Pace will make the most of big plays and special teams. Pace will cruise and be playing backups by middle of third quarter. Pace 45 Tate 14.

Milton @ Navarre-Milton has had a disappointing year. There is no quit in the Panthers though, and this game will be closer than the records would indicate. Navarre 48 Milton 35.

Northsantarosa.com went 1-1 on pics last week, bringing the overall record on pics to 9-7.
