Royals Cross Country Update
Monday-Congratulations to the JHS Boys’ XC team for winning the 6 team Baker Meet at Ropin’ the Truth Ranch this morning. The boys’ team was led by Chance Thornton who ran 4th place overall with a time of 18:34. Followed by other team scorers 6th place Athan Peterson 18:52; 7th Ramsey Reaves 18:59; 12th Jody Godwin 20:26; and 24th Mason Tutt with a time of 21:29. Other runners for the boys were 28th Eric Zhuo 22:10; 29th Avery Wayland 22:15; 34th Kenneth Garcia 22:34; 42nd Braydon Nowling 24:05; 45th Cooper Harrison 24:25; and 53rd Ryan Kelley with a 27:41.
The Lady Royals’ team was led by Leah Smith who finished 10th overall, with a time of 24:29. Other team scorers were 13th Linda Slade 25:01; 14th Lexie Smith 25:01; 16th Katelyn Harrison 26:28; 18th Madilyne Saye 27:04; 25th Hannah Zhuo 29:42; 33rd Trinity Slade 37:31; and 34th Ariana Garcia with a time of 37:31
This was the last regular season meet. The Running Royals XC teams will run the District meet next Thursday morning, October 20th in Blountstown.
