Week 4 (With predictions)
Milton (1-2) @ Gulf Breeze(1-2) —Gametime 7:00pm
Milton is coming off it’s first win of the season when they defeated Washington on Saturday night, 47-31 (game was suspended due to weather at halftime on Friday). The Panthers’ offense has now scored over 40 twice in this young season, so offense doesn’t seem to be the problem. Can the Panthers defense keep the Dolphins at bay? Last week, Gulf Breeze was only able to muster up 10 points in a loss to Escambia.
Last year, Gulf Breeze defeated Milton, 28-21.
Pace (3-0) @ Crestview (1-2) —Gametime 7:00pm
Pace is coming off a huge second half from last week when they blew out West Florida, 42-14. Pace scored 21 in the third quarter to put West Florida away. This week, the Patriots face Crestview, who are having a down year to their standards. The Bulldogs won in week one over Ridley (PA) but have lost their lost two (24-21 to Gulf Breeze and 35-34 to Choctaw). That being said, Pace barely defeated Choctaw in week 1, 31-30. This game will be much closer than the records would indicate.
Last year Crestview defeated Pace, 27-26.
The Royals (2-1) do not play this week.
Northsanta Rosa Predictions
Alright, Northsantarosa.com had a better week last week, going 2/3 in picks. Missed out big on the Pace game (we picked Pace to lose to West Florida). Let’s see how we do this week.
Milton will pick up right where they left off against Washington as they have too many athletes for Gulf Breeze. Milton 42 Gulf Breeze 27
Pace found some offensive weapons, aided by turnovers from West Florida special teams. Crestview will put up a tougher fight for 4 quarters, but Pace will win a close one to go 4-0. Pace 31 Crestview 27
Northsantarosa.com is 4-5 on the year with picks.
