North Santa Rosa

Week 3…with predictions

Jay (1-1) @ Franklin County (1-1) Gametime—7:00pm

Jay got its first win of the season last week by defeating Freeport 24-15. Franklin County defeated a down Vernon team, 14-12 in week 2. The Royals’ are oozing with confidence right now, which is a welcomed sight around Jay. It has been quite a while where there has been this much optimism around the program. There are a few Royals banged up from last week’s game, but depth in those positions should be enough to propel Jay over Franklin County.

Last year the two schools did not play.

Washington (1-1) @ Milton (0-2) Gametime—7:30pm

The Panthers are off to a slow start this season, but they have played two pretty tough opponents. Milton lost last week to Catholic 26-14 and Andalusia 42-31 in week 1. The Panthers should be able to bounce back this week against Washington, who were shut out last week by West Florida, 27-0.

Last year Washington defeated Milton, 25-22.

West Florida (2-0) @ Pace (2-0) Gametime—7:30pm

A battle of unbeatens takes place at Pace this Friday. Pace hosts West Florida which will be a real test for the Patriots, who have defeated Choctaw and St. Martin (Mississippi). Coach Harry Lees is in his 1st year of his 2nd stint as head coach at West Florida and seems to have them firing on all cylinders. This will be a tougher week for Pace.

Last year the two schools did not play.

PREDICTIONS
