Turnovers doom Royals in loss to Neal

The Jay Royals lost to WS Neal 25-0 in their season opener. Three first half turnovers proved to be too much to overcome for Jay as they struggled offensively to start the 2nd half and turned the ball over again, leading to a fumble recovery for a touchdown for Neal. Check back for stats and recap of the game. Next up for Jay is a matchup against the Freeport Bulldogs at Merle V North in the Royals home season opener.

Milton loses Shootout

Andalusia proved to have too much firepower for the Panthers as they traveled across the state line to get the win, 42-31. The Panthers allowed 3 2nd quarter touchdowns and just couldn’t catch up. Down 28-14 at the half, the Panthers outscored their opponent in the 3rd, but that was as close as they would get. Next up for Milton is a home game versus Catholic next Friday.
