Jay tops Pace…again

For the second time this year, Jay softball defeated Pace. This time, the game was at Pace. And this time, just as last, it was a nail-biter. 1-0 was the score the first time the Royals defeated the 7A Patriots, who played in their classification’s state championship last year as well. This time, it took extra innings, but the Royals got it done again. Hits were at a premium (each team had a grand total of 3), as both sides pitched excellent. But Jay found just what they needed at the top of the 13 inning.
