North Santa Rosa

Week 9

Port St. Joe (5-1) @ Jay (0-7)—7:00pm

The Royals are coming off an off week and will be about as healthy as they’ve been all year. Tonight’s opponent, Port St. Joe, is coming off a 48-28 win over bigger classification Bay High. Jay will need to setup the run game early and shorten the clock to to keep the Sharks’ offense off the field. Jay has been outscored to date this season 288-74.

Last year, the two schools did not play.

Milton (3-4) @ Escambia (3-3)—7:00pm

Milton is coming off a loss and looking to turn things around against the Gators this week. Pine Forest beat the Panthers last week 49-20 in their last home game of the season. They will have to be road warriors the rest of the way if they are going to make this into a winning season. Last week, Escambia beat Fort Walton (1-7), 26-7.

Last year, the two schools did not play.

Pace (3-4) @ Crestview (5-3)—7:00pm

Pace is coming off a close loss to Navarre last week (41-34) and will look to bounce back this week as they go on the road to Okaloosa County. Can the Patriots put last week’s loss out of their minds? Crestview is coming into tonight’s game on a two game winning streak, albeit barely surviving last week’s game 7-3 over winless Tate.

Last year, Pace beat Crestview, 49-42.
