Week 8

This Friday night the Jay Royals (0-7) are off. Milton and Pace both play, however, and the competition for both the Panthers and the Patriots will get a little tougher this week.

Pine Forest (4-1) @ Milton (3-3) -7pm Kickoff

Last week, Milton defeated Pensacola High to give the Panther fans a homecoming victory, 28-7. This week, Pine Forest comes to Haywood Hanna Stadium. The Panthers will try and get on the right side of .500. Pine Forest is coming off a 34-14 victory over Baker (AL) and riding high on a four game win streak. Will it be 5? Or will the Panthers make it two wins in a row?

Last year, Pine Forest and Milton did not play.

Navarre (3-2) @ Pace (3-3)-7:30pm Kickoff

Pace is coming off a win over 2A Munroe (Quincy), 44-29. The Patriots have now won 2 in a row. Navarre lost last week to Mosley, 30-7, but before that had beaten Tate and Leon. Tate is a common opponent for the two schools; Pace defeated them 37-0 while Navarre won their meeting, 35-14. Should be a close one.

Last year, Pace lost to Navarre in the season opener, 17-7.
