Royals Softball headed to Final Four

Thursday-Well, it took two days longer than anyone expected, but the Lady Royals softball team finally punched their tickets to the final four. The Lady Royals’ regional championship against Holmes County was scheduled for Tuesday night but due to inclement weather for two straight days, the Royals had to wait for the sweet taste of victory…and boy was it worth the wait. The Lady Royals took control of the game early with home runs from Kaitlyn Gavin and Mattie Cochran and never looked back.
