City of Jay Hosts Food Drive
Jay-On Thursday, the City of Jay passed out 10,000 pounds of food to people in the area. Residents from Santa Rosa and Escambia counties received free food at Bray Hendricks Park in Jay. City Manager of Jay, Eric Seib, setup the event. Coaches from JHS also helped as well as a few students.
“The Jay High School Athletic Department and Staff helped hand out 10,000 pounds of food for 260 families. The food was provided by Feeding the Gulf Coast, sponsored by SAFER Santa Rosa and hosted by the Town of Jay. The Town is very appreciative of the great relationship that we have with Jay High School,” stated Seib.
