North Santa Rosa

Prep Football: Week 9

Jay (3-4) @ North Bay Haven (3-4)—Gametime 7:00pm (Game to be played at Panama City Bozeman High School)

Jay is riding high on a two-game winning streak and as homecoming victors from last week. Jay defeated then 6-1 and 5th ranked Freeport last week, 47-40. While Jay ran the ball last week a good bit (170 yards on the ground), the Royals really did their damage through the air as senior quarterback Judd Smith threw 6 touchdowns. This week however the Royals may have to lean on their ground game due to a 100% chance of rain in the forecast in Panama City. North Bay Haven is coming off a win of their own. The Buccaneers defeated Liberty County last week, 27-0.

Last year the game between Jay and North Bay Haven was cancelled due to Hurricane Micheal. This is the first ever meeting between the two schools.

Pace (2-5) @ Gulf Breeze (2-5) —Gametime 7:00pm

The Patriots come into this game limping. Last week Catholic outlasted Pace and won in overtime. With the loss, Pace brings into this game a 3 game losing streak. Gulf Breeze lost a tough one of their last game as well, losing to Milton by a touchdown.

Last year, Gulf Breeze topped Pace 45-42.

Milton (4-3) @ Mosley (0-7) —Gametime 7:00pm THURSDAY

Milton got a big win last week by defeating Gulf Breeze at home. This week the Panthers play on Thursday in Panama City. Mosley is still looking for their first win of the 2019 season. And while they are winless, Mosley has been competitive. The Dolphins lost last week to undefeated Escambia 35-28 and the week before lost to Fort Walton Beach 10-9. The week before Fort Walton, undefeated Washington only defeated Mosley by a touchdown. Be careful of the records in this one.

Last year the two schools did not play.
