Prep Football: Week 7

Jay (1-4) @ Lighthouse (3-2)—Gametime 7:00pm

Jay is coming off a 3 game losing streak where they faced Flomaton, Escambia Academy, and Baker. The Gators defeated the Royals 41-14 last week. Jay had trouble stopping the senior-laden Gators. Baker won their 35 regular season football game in a row. This week, they turn their attention to Lighthouse Pensacola Christian Academy. The Stingrays have never defeated the Royals (0-3 all time). Last week, seven players were ejected from the game between Lighthouse and Holmes County so the Royals don’t really know what to expect. It will be interesting to see how the Royals handle this one.

Last year, Jay defeated Lighthouse, 44-16.

Washington (5-0) @ Milton (3-2)—Gametime 7:30pm

Milton is coming off a tough loss to undefeated Escambia last week, 22-15. The Panthers has been tough in every game, losing only by a touchdown to Navarre earlier int he year. It won’t be any easier this week with Washington. The Wildcats has been the surprise team this year. They defeated Pace last week, 34-7. This promises to be a great game.

Last year, Milton defeated Washington 38-15.

Pace (1-4) @ Escambia (5-0)—Gametime 7:00pm

Pace is going to have their hands full tonight with Escambia. The Patriots lost last week to Washington and will try and see if they can get the ground game going early in this one. Escambia defeated Milton last week by a touchdown.

Last year Pace and Escambia did not play.
