UF/IFAS Extension Holds Soil and Lawn Care Classes

Get prepared for the spring season by learning the right timing and methods for fertilizing and weed control, proper irrigation and other lawn care practices. The Santa Rosa County UF/IFAS Extension will host two spring lawn care classes:Fri., Mar. 8 from 10 – 11 a.m. at the UF/IFAS Santa Rosa County Extension office, 6263 Dogwood Dr. in Milton 

Fri., Mar. 15 from 1 – 2 p.m. at the Gulf Breeze Library, 1060 Shoreline Dr. in Gulf Breeze

In addition to lawn care, the Santa Rosa County UF/IFAS Extension will host a class on soil care. Find out why soil composition is so important to achieving great gardening results and learn how to improve the life of soil. This class will be held March 25 at 10 a.m. in Bldg. 4800/Rm. 4902 at Pensacola State College, 5988 Hwy. 90 in Milton.
