Lady Royals Down Gators

@ Baker-On Tuesday night, Jay defeated Baker to advance to the district championship. Jay will be playing for the distict title for the first time since 2009 (Jay lost to Ponce de Leon that year, 40-30). The last year Jay won the title was 2005. The Lady Royals expected a tough game as the hosting Baker Gators were playing in front of a home crowd and they got one. Tied at the half, the Lady Royals used a strong 3rd quarter and stifling defense to smother the Gators and pull away.

The Royals will play Freeport fir the district championship.
