“Are you ready for some football?”…Prep Football: Week 1

Hard to believe that high school football season is here again. Week 1 looks to be a great way to kickoff the year.

Flomaton @ Jay

Last year Flomaton owned the Royals in the opening game of the 2017 season. The Royals had 5 turnovers overall in the game and had no answer to stop the Hurricanes’ offense last year. However, after starting the season last year 1-4, the Royals caught fire the second half of the season to finish 6-4 and earned a spot in the playoffs. The hope for Jay is that they start the season off the way they finished the regular season last year. We will find out Friday night. (Last year Flomaton defeated Jay, 36-7).

Pace @ Fort Walton Beach

Pace is coming off a 3-6 season and want to get off on the right foot. They will try and do that this Friday night when they travel to face the Vikings. (Last year Fort Walton edged Pace, 31-27).

Milton @ Washington

Milton travels to Pensacola to face Washington. Milton is coming off a 3-7 season. The Panthers have a young team, but hopes to win early season games with defense as their offense comes along. (Last year Washington defeated Milton 45-26).
