Dana Minchew wins $5000 and receives an additional $5000 Surprise

Cat Country 98.7 Qualifiers and guests gathered at Bob Tyler Toyota on May 6, 2018 for the official Last Prize Standing drawdown! It came down to two qualifiers. In the end, Dana Minchew was the winner of 2018’s Last Prize Standing contest. Dana eliminated the Norwegian Cruise for two, and took home the $5,000 Central Credit Union savings account. Dana Minchew is a mother of a two year old daughter that was recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. She is planning on saving the money, and using it to help future medical bills for her daughter. 

Touched by Dana heartfelt story, another listener called the Cat Country station after the event had ended and told Brent Lane that he would like to bless Dana with an additional $5,000.

On May 9th 2018 Dana met with Damaris Gonzalez along with the Cat Crew and the rest of the Central Credit Union team, to open her new Central Credit Union Savings account. Dana was overjoyed and so grateful for the additional $5,000 from the anonymous listener.
