Pics from Jay Community STEAM Event
On February 27 Jay High School along with Jay Elementary welcomed in over 900 members of the Jay community and school district leaders for their first ever Jay Community STEAM Event. STEAM is an educational acronym that all Santa Rosa District Schools implement. S=Science, T= Technology, E=Engineering,A=Arts, M=Mathematics. The purpose of the night was to introduce parents and community members to all the different ways JHS and JES implementsthe cross-curricular STEAM method. Over 50 booths were setup for families to explore how the STEAM methods are being used in classrooms today.
