John Haynes selected as Santa Rosa County Employee of the Quarter
Emergency Communications Center Shift Supervisor John Haynes has been awarded Santa Rosa County’s Employee of the Quarter. Haynes is well-known for displaying a great attitude toward his daily job requirements as well as when the center is busy with emergencies and challenges. Haynes was recently promoted to the role of shift supervisor in the county’s 911 emergency communications center. He strives to excel in everyday activities and takes the lead when training opportunities present themselves. Outside the ECC, Haynes participates in community awareness and responder training events. He is active with the Community CPR, 9-1-1 Awareness, Emergency Medical Response training as well as taking one of the leading roles with the mobile command unit.
“John is what Santa Rosa County looks for in an employee with his willingness to go far beyond what is required for his position,” said Communications Chief Scott Markel. “He is constantly looking for opportunities to improve his performance and then share that knowledge with his coworkers.”
